Brazil acceded to the 1965 Convention on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters in November 2018 and, last month, President Jair Bolsonaro promulgated the so-called Service Convention through Decree 9,734/2019.
