The International Group of P&I Clubs (IGP&I) has just released a new online dashboard to track the spread of COVID-19 around the globe and assist its clubs’ members, made up of shipowners, charterers, operators and traders, to monitor developments in the maritime and port sectors, the stance adopted by the various countries and the restrictive measures put in place by port authorities and operators in different jurisdictions in response to the ongoing pandemic.
Provided by intelligence and analysis company Geocollect, the digital tool displays live data on the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide and also features country and port information that the thirteen P&I clubs forming the IGP&I gather from their members and from their global network of correspondents and lawyers.
The IGP&I dashboard is publicly available and there is no need to register. It can be viewed on a computer or a smartphone and is accessible on either of the following links:
