ITIC celebrates its 25th anniversary as mutual insurer for intermediaries

On 29 June 2017, our partner Ricardo Martins attended the party hosted by ITIC at Merchant Taylors’ Hall, in London, to celebrate its 25th anniversary as a leading mutual professional insurer providing cover to service providers in the transport, offshore and architecture industries.

Over 400 guests including members of ITIC worldwide as ourselves attended the function at the superb venue that is the seat of the Worshipful Company of Merchant Taylors, one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies of the City of London, since the fourteenth century.

ITIC (International Transport Intermediaries Club Ltd.) offers its membership, comprising ship agents, brokers, surveyors, naval architects and correspondents, indemnity cover for negligence, errors and omissions and specialised covers for debt collection, cargo liabilities and cyber risks, among others. ITIC also provides loss prevention and legal advice with the support of a network of correspondents around the globe. Likewise TT Club and UK P&I Club, for which we are proud correspondents in Brazil, ITIC is managed by Thomas Miller.
