The traditional and highly attended two-day event gathered the private sector, judiciary and federal government
On 17 and 18 August, the Brazilian Association of Maritime Law (ABDM), São Paulo branch, held the 6th Congress of Maritime and Port Law in Santos.
Proinde, an ABDM member, supported the sold-out event at the largest port in Latin America. Among the various panellists were representatives of the judiciary and executive branches.
Our senior partner Carlos Augusto, moderated, alongside lawyer Maria Cristina Contijo, the third panel of the event, “Blue Economy and Navigation Safety“, which was presented by the president of the Maritime Tribunal, Admiral Ralph Dias, the director of the National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ) and lawyer Luciana Marques of MSC Mediterranean Shipping do Brasil.
