ANEC holds its traditional dinner party

The National Association of Grain Exporters (Associação Brasileira de Exportadores de Cereais – ANEC) held the 38th dinner in the premises of Hebraica Club’s prime hall, Marc Chagall, in the city of Sao Paulo on 28 November 2019.

More than 900 people from all fields of the grain export chain attended. Our colleagues Rogerio Martins, Rodrigo Nascimento and Ricardo Martins participated in the traditional annual event.

ANEC promotes the development of activities related to the exports of grain and cereals and represents its members and sponsors, comprised of exporters, traders, and cargo controllers, before trade councils and chambers of commerce, the Ministry of Agriculture and other governmental agencies. ANEC is also responsible for drafting and publishing sales contracts that have become standard for Brazilian grain exporters.

In 2019, Brazil’s grain export will reach 113 million metric tons, yielding about US$ 32 billion, which represents almost 20% of the national trade balance, according to ANEC data.
