The International Group of P&I Clubs (IG) launches questionnaires in various languages to standardise and streamline the identification and subsequent repatriation of stowaways
The two-paged stowaway questionnaires aim to record essential information about the identity and background of stowaways on ships and how they have gained access. The forms were issued in five languages and can be downloaded via the links below.

While it is rather uncommon for people to stow away onboard vessels departing from Brazilian ports, the country is a traditional point of arrival for stowaways, mostly boarded in Africa, though most of these intruders’ initial intention is to travel to countries in Europe and North America.
